Hiking boots or bike?<\/strong> Both! Only 200 metres from the Ruhr Valley cycle path<\/strong> and directly at the Sauerland Forest Route<\/strong> the monastery is the perfect starting point for your tours, Winter sports in Winterberg<\/strong> or a detour to the Pl\u00e4sterlegge waterfall<\/strong>. Many municipalities in Sauerland are permitted to charge a spa tax for every overnight stay and guest, as they are recognised health resorts and spas. In return, you as a guest will receive on the day of arrival the Sauerland Card,\u00a0<\/strong>which is valid until the day of departure. With the Sauerland-Card you can travel for free on some routes from Schmallenberg via Winterberg to Medebach, from Marsberg to Arnsberg, from Willingen to the M\u00f6hnesee or from Hallenberg to Eslohe by bus and train.
