Travelling by train:
There are through trains from Kassel/Warburg and Dortmund/Hagen/Schwerte to Bestwiger Bahnhof. Information can be found on the Railway page. From here it is a short walk of about 500 metres to the Bergkloster. Walk along the B7 towards Brilon and then turn right opposite the Wigge nursery/flower shop up the steep path „Am Breberg“. Cross the residential road „Am Knochen“ and after another 30 metres you will find the entrance to the monastery grounds on the left. The footpath is marked with green signs from the B7.
Travelling by car:
Coming from Dortmund, follow the A 46 motorway until the Bestwig exit. Then turn left towards Brilon/Winterberg/Bestwig. Follow the B7 almost as far as the end of Bestwig. Turn right opposite the entrance to the supermarkets (REWE, kik).
Coming from Paderborn/Brilon, continue from Nuttlar in the direction of Meschede/Bestwig. Shortly after entering the town, opposite the entrance to the supermarkets (REWE, kik), turn left. Follow the signs to Bergkloster or Berufskolleg Bergkloster Bestwig.
