Meditative dances are usually circular dances. We dance in a circle and usually move anti-clockwise, towards the sun and the light. With simple, repetitive steps, we move around a designed centre and can thus find our own centre and thus God. By listening to God's word, we give the divine light space around us and within us so that it can radiate. Meditative dancing invites us to feel our own rhythm, to harmonise body, mind and soul and to draw joy and strength for new things. Through movement, we come to rest and feel supported by the community. The dances to music in a wide variety of styles alternate with short textile impulses that invite us to pause and reflect.

- light (dance) shoes or thick socks
- comfortable clothing
