Check in, breathe out: 32 single rooms, 14 twin rooms and four multi-bed rooms with five beds each await you in two guest houses. All rooms have their own bathroom, WLAN and a view of the countryside.
Hiking boots or bike? Both! Only 200 metres from the Ruhr Valley cycle path and directly at the Sauerland Forest Route the monastery is the perfect starting point for your tours, Winter sports in Winterberg or a detour to the Plästerlegge waterfall. Bikes and walking sticks are available for hire and packed lunches are available on request from the monastery kitchen.
Many municipalities in Sauerland are permitted to charge a spa tax for every overnight stay and guest, as they are recognised health resorts and spas. In return, you as a guest will receive on the day of arrival the Sauerland Card, which is valid until the day of departure. With the Sauerland-Card you can travel for free on some routes from Schmallenberg via Winterberg to Medebach, from Marsberg to Arnsberg, from Willingen to the Möhnesee or from Hallenberg to Eslohe by bus and train. Furthermore, the Sauerland-Card offers various discounts and reductions in many leisure facilities such as amusement parks, museums, swimming pools or ski resorts.
