Ursel Pilartz, experiential educator and movement therapist, gets the day moving every day. The rich liturgy of the church is complemented by thematic units led by Sr Maria Ignatia Langela SMMP.

The programmes in the liturgical year are not closed courses; you can come and go at any time.

Costs: Programme surcharge of €11 per day and person (in addition to the costs for accommodation and meals)

On Maundy Thursday we organise a funeral mass at night.

It is a tradition that a cultural programme is offered in the mountain monastery on Good Friday evening (starting at 19:30), 2026:
Ecce homo - dance, text and music:

Dr Felix Grützner (born 1964 in Düsseldorf) will be our guest as a „life dancer“, accompanied by Elke Schroeder on saxophone and Heiner Bartsch on organ. Felix Grützner has been organising church services and funerals with dance for over 30 years.

He trained in classical ballet and modern dance in Düsseldorf, Bonn and Rome and completed his studies in art history with a doctorate.

In German-speaking countries, he holds further training courses focussing on body language, dealing with emotions, self-care and spirituality.
