„Today I called to my house; it was always occupied.“ There is much truth in Karl Valentin’s motto. We are often so busy that we are hardly reachable in our own home. It is good to take a moment to pause and become aware of how the house of my life looks like, the apartment that is prepared for me in the house of God. These retreat days invite you to explore your home: what rooms do I have in my house? Where do I like to spend time, where do I perhaps not look as often? Where do I need to tidy up again?

Short impulses, time for personal reflection, daily Eucharistic celebrations and prayer times, and the individual or confessional conversation with the companion can help us in this.
