On Saturday, June 27, we invite We from 10 am - 1 pm for prayer and dance around the Emmaus history in Oelinghausen Monastery (Arnsberg)!

10:00 AM Arrival and Welcome (Standing coffee)

10:30 AM Bible study and meditative dancing on the Emmaus story

13:00 Farewell

Meditative dances are usually circle dances. With simple, repeating steps, we move around a designed centre and can thus find our own centre and, with it, God. By listening to God's word, we make room for the divine light to come to us and within us, so that we can radiate it.

Meditative dance invites you to feel your own rhythm, to bring body, mind, and soul into harmony, and from that to draw joy and strength for new endeavours. Through movement, we find peace and feel supported by the community.

The dances to music from the most varied of styles alternate with short text inspirations that invite you to pause and reflect.

We are dancing in the side chapel of the abbey church.

Please bring along:

– light shoes,

- comfortable clothing
