Bible storyteller training

Full of wonderful secrets and insights, full of dramatic and comforting stories, the Bible is a testament to its life-changing hope-filled images. Telling them is a special kind of gift. Telling them in a way that touches the soul is an art that is trained through education.
Since this is a professional training program, we place great emphasis on biblical social history so that the stories can be told in a way that is theologically responsible.
Basic knowledge of how to handle biblical texts is required; that is, the participants should be reasonably familiar with the basic stories of the Old and New Testaments and have their own experience with biblical words. They should be sensitive to the beauty of biblical words and to their transformative power.

Target audience: The offer is aimed at everyone who would like to delve deeper into the liberating message of the Bible, especially those who work with children, students, the sick, the elderly, or in the community.

Qualification: At the end of the successful training, a certificate is awarded: „Qualified Bible Narrator“ or „Qualified Bible Interpreter“.

Organization: Obtaining a certificate requires participation in the following units:
– two full study days in the mountain monastery
– three regional individual days following mutually guided homiotherapy (intervision)
– three stories told publicly
– Participation in a Zoom conference
– Participation in the Bible Night

Further dates: Module II 04.11. – 06.11.2027; Bible storytelling night 06.11.2027; Zoom conference on Wed, 24.06.27 or Wed, 26.08.27, at 19:00 – 20:30 each time; three regional days (Intervision), the dates and locations of which are to be decided by the group.
Note: This training is recognized as educational leave. We are happy to provide you with a certificate for your employer upon request.
