Accompanied time-out
Sela.Christian Yoga combines the techniques of yoga with the Christian faith tradition. Biblical thoughts and texts are embodied in yoga postures. Sela is the Hebrew word for active pauses in psalm prayers. Space is left between the verses to breathe and fully grasp the content of what is being said.
Anyone who combines prayer and reflection on biblical and Christian texts with breathing and silence and focused movement can gain a deeper understanding of their own creation: I am a human being before God. Created and formed by God. My body is the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit.
The Sela.Christliche Yoga class offers an active break that strengthens body awareness, awakens a joy in movement, and teaches concentration and mindfulness through movement, meditation, breathing, and silence.
In parallel to a guided hike and to free time, Sr. M. Ignatia offers the creative design of a figure in bronze-colored material.
Please bring clothes suitable for yoga and a painting smock.
